We found this wonderful place on the web and were very happy we did! The rooms are spacious and very clean as are the bathrooms and very homey.Our hostess went out off her way to make us comfortable and well fed. This lady is some cook! We certainly recommend The gemstone guest house and B&B!
Recently we enjoyed an absolutely delighful long weekend at the Gemstone Guest House and B&B in Raymond, Alberta, CA. Cheryl, our hostess had thought of everything we needed to make our stay perfectly lovely.The breakfasts that she served are made for a hearty appetite! She asked us what our preferences were and catered the meal to our taste and schedule. I could see that any type of diner could easily be accommodated. She is an accomplished cook and her timing and presentation are suberb.Our rooms were extremely clean, well designed and allowed us to feel right at home. I enjoyed the extra space in the drawers and closets so I didn't feel like I was living out of my suitcase! She kept fresh towels set out and everything else we might need to prepare for our day.We felt grateful and blessed to have discovered this 'gem' of a guesthouse! It was truly a vacation.:)Thank you Cheryl!
